ATHLETICS UNION EXEC 2020/21
BEN HART
President
Hello! I'm Ben, your AU President.
I graduated in the Summer of 2020 with a Degree in English and spent three years as a student in the Men's Football Club.
My job is to be the voice of student sport and liaise with the AU staff, the Guild, and students across campus to ensure sport is accessible by everyone and maximise student satisfaction.
My manifesto encompasses three main themes; Welfare, Inclusivity and Diversity, and Transparency.

ADAM EVANS
Vice President
Hi! I’m Adam, your AU Exec Vice President. I’m a 4th year Medical Science student and sports I’ve been involved in at Exeter are Basketball and Canoe club.
This year my main goal is to make the Exec a robust and useful entity that people know about and know what we do. I hope to do this through improving communication channels between the Exec committee and Clubs, and to increase presence of Exec committee members at club events, fixtures and training.

MILLIE URQUHART
General Secretary
Hi! I'm Millie, your AU Exec General Secretary. I'm a 2nd year, studying History and IR, and the main sport I've been involved in at Exeter is Badminton.
My aim is to support Ben and Adam in whatever they endeavour to complete, though I have specifically focused myself on enhancing transparency between the Exec and the rest of the AU, especially in the current situation where, obviously, a lot of people may be quite confused about what’s going on, what the actual rules are, and the recent updates that have been put forward.

SABRINA CASS
Welfare Officer
Hi! I’m Sabrina, your AU Exec Welfare Officer for this year. I’m a third year Drama student and I’m also part of Exeter University Amateur Boxing Club.
This year my goal is to prioritise the well-being of our students and offer them help in a way that best suits them, especially at a time like this when it’s needed now more than ever. I want to create awareness around certain mental health issues and by doing this, open up more specific safe spaces for our students to be able to talk.

ISAAC HOPKINS
St Luke's Officer
Hi! I’m Isaac, your AU Exec St Lukes Officer. I’m a 2nd year Sport and Exercise Science student and I’m also a part of Exeter University Football Club.
My main goal this year is to increase participation within the clubs and help increase the awareness of these to new students. Due to Covid-19 implications it has been extremely hard for students to gain a real insight into the vast amount of clubs available so I will try my best to work with the clubs to restore this
