Student Sport Manager
Nobody is more passionate about Student Sport than Charlotte. She goes above and beyond to ensure the smooth running of sport on campus and that everyone has the best sporting experience.
Charlotte graduated from the University of Gloucestershire in 2002, with an Honours degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences. After graduating, she worked within the leisure industry as a swimming teacher, lifeguard and gym instructor. Charlotte then went on to to work for the sports development department at the University of Plymouth for 3 years, until finally she joined the University of Exeter as AU Manager in 2005
Sport Development Manager
Steve is your go to man when it comes to bright and new ideas about what to do within your sports club. He works tirelessly to help clubs reach their goals - whether that's on or off the field of play.
Steve graduated in 2016 with BA (Hons) in Sport and Social Sciences from the University of Bath. Steve is an avid footballer and sports fan, who enjoys the range of sports and activities that the Sports Park, Russell Seal Fitness Centre and St. Luke’s has to offer.
Cait is responsible for overseeing British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) programmes at Exeter, including weekly Wednesday fixtures and individual events throughout the season.
She works closely with the BUCS team captains but is happy to help any student who wants to know more about BUCS. Her speciality lies with hockey as a player, coach and umpire but has a keen interest in leading a healthy active lifestyle, nutrition and loves to learn about how other sports work.
Sports Participation Officer
Lauren is responsible for the development of our social sport programme of events, to engage students of all standards. The main part of this being the administration of our comprehensive Intramural programme for students. This includes both weekly and one-off events throughout the year.
Lauren has worked within the Leisure Industry as a Personal Trainer and Leisure Supervisor, spending a year in Australia working in Fitness First on Bondi Beach. Lauren has most recently spent almost 5 years with Active Devon, tackling inactivity across Devon and working alongside National Campaigns such as This Girl Can. Lauren joined the University of Exeter in September 2018 as the Sports Participation Officer to help work towards the Universities goal of having 70% of their student population active.
Sports Welfare Consultant
Anna provides support for students involved in sports and fitness.
In her role she takes a proactive stance on promoting health and wellbeing in sports and fitness, raising awareness of the importance of mental health within the sports, fitness milieu.
Administration Assistant (Athletic Union)
Bayley joined the Sports Office in 2016 as a Recreation Assistant after finishing his A Levels, seeking to gain experience within the Sports Industry. Having done that role for 2 Years, he moved into an Administrative Role in the Sports Bookings office in January 2018 to gain some experience in an office environment. Bayley then joined the AU in December 2018.
Bayley works closely with our Treasurers to ensure they are well equipped and supported within their role.
Bayley has always had a keen interest in sport. In particular football where he has represented the County and enjoys keeping fit in his spare time
